We know you have options for your client communication and education…

So why work with us?

I have had both personal and professional experience in adoption -

I am a single adoptive mom, I adopted my daughter at birth eight years ago.  I had two failed adoptions before I brought my daughter home.  One of those was a scam and the other I was able to bring the baby home for a week before legal issues presented and the attorneys put a halt to the pending adoption until matters could be resolved.  I have worked with three different agencies and a consultant as an adoptive parent.  A few years after my daughter was born I started working for an adoption consultant helping families through the same journey I had taken.

Through my journey I realized that my education as a prospective adoptive parent was mostly subjective and varied based on who I happened to be working with at any given agency/consultant.  I was given lots of reading material and information to go through during my wait – much of which was outdated and irrelevant and didn’t really speak to today’s adoption landscape.

I also realized that the adoption industry is filled with many talented and VERY BUSY people.  You are pulled in so many directions and because this is such a personal journey you desire to and need to have a “high touch” business where your clients work directly with you and not a third party.

My background is in Education and Marketing –

So I decided to really approach this from a unique perspective, with my background to draw from.  In college I studied childhood education.  I ended up going into marketing after teaching for a few years and have worked as a marketing professional for over 25 years now helping build strong brands, craft effective communications and define and reach an audience.

I thought – now this could be fun!  I am passionate about adoption, I love teaching and I have worked in marketing for over 25 years.  Let’s see what comes out of this!  There is where Adoption Marketing Services was born.

At Adoption Marketing Services, we understand the unique challenges that adoption professionals like you face in providing comprehensive education and consistent communication to adoptive parents.
